Visiting the Library
- Students may return, check out, or renew books before school, during and after school. They are not required to wait until their regular library class time to visit the library.
- Students may visit the library with their teacher's permission during open check-out times throughout the school day.
Checking Out Books
- Books are loaned on a weekly basis but may be renewed.
- The number of books students check out varies. Typically, PK-K grade students check out 1 book per visit, while 1st-6th students have a 2 book minimum, but may check out more on a case by case basis.
- Books are due each week on the student's check-out day. Overdue books may limit additional checkouts.
Lost Books
- No fines are assessed for late books.
- If a book is lost, the library will notify the parents of the title and cost of the book.
- If the book is found and returned in good condition prior to the end of the school year, a refund will be made.
Damaged Books
- It is the student's responsibility to report any existing damage to the librarian as soon as possible.
- If a book is damaged after being checked out, the library will notify the parent of the cost of the book's repair or replacement.
